More About Jessica:

Jessica is located in the state of New Hampshire, born and raised! She lives in the largest city north of Boston, MA, but yet still has that “small town” feel!

Jessica is a highly accomplished professional in the Higher Education industry. She works for one of the largest online Universities in the country (however, she works on the University’s traditional campus, which is where she also attended college herself!). She is extremely passionate about higher education, and received her Bachelor’s degree with a triple major in Marketing, Advertising, and Retailing, with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Sociology. Her love of learning inspired her to acquire several Master’s degrees including a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Science in Marketing, as well as multiple graduate certificates including Marketing and International Business. Jessica considers herself a life-long learner, and aspires to be a true leader within the Higher Education Industry, and is now pursuing her Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration.

During her college years, Jessica also worked hard in the retail fashion industry. She started as a sales associate and worked her way up to become an assistant manager while balancing her studies. She was very dedicated and motivated, and always eager to learn and grow.  Upon graduating, she ventured into the higher education industry, but still kept her love for fashion alive. 

Jessica has a heart for helping others. Over the years, she has worked in various roles in the higher education industry, including admission, academic advising, faculty support, and operations. However, no matter what her position entails, her passion for relationship building and helping people is always at the forefront of everything she does!

Along with her academic pursuits, Jessica also has a passion for fashion! She has taught undergraduate courses as an adjunct professor for many years in the areas of fashion merchandising and marketing (a particular favorite course she has taught is “Sustainability in Fashion”!). Her love for fashion extends beyond teaching, as she has always enjoyed a side hobby of selling her own clothes, shoes, and accessories from her personal collection – dating back to when she was in high school even! This side hobby has continued for many years, providing an outlet for her love of fashion, and customer service! She loves sharing her passion for beauty and fashion with others. Her dedication to excellence in all that she does, both in her career and personal interests, is a testament to her drive and determination.

Jessica’s favorite childhood toy was Barbie! Her love for Barbie extends beyond her fashion sense. She has been a collector of Heart of the Collector Holiday Barbie dolls and ornaments since she was a little girl, and continues to add to her collection to this day. Barbie inspired her as a little girl - Barbie was beautiful, and could “do anything” (as the commercial always said!) Jessica took that passion, and taught a college undergraduate marketing course about the rise and fall of Mattel’s flagship Barbie store in China! Barbie is definitely what inspired Jessica’s love for blonde hair! 

Jessica is also passionate about animal rescue, particularly cats. She affectionately considers herself a "crazy cat lady" and takes pride in the fact that she has many feline companions of her own, and has also volunteered at local rescues, and has rescued many stray cats over the years. She feels a deep connection to animals and wildlife – she has even been known to feed raccoons and possums that visit her yard!
