My name is Karina and I am in my 60’s with very fine thinning hair.

My journey with hair issues started years ago when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My hair started thinning very slowly to the point that I needed some helper hair. I started with the hair extensions and then wore hair toppers on and off for about 15 years. The past year they just weren’t working for me. This entire process I was going through was my hidden secret. I didn’t want anyone to know I was dealing with hair loss.

I started my wig journey in 2022 while searching the internet. Wig shops just were no longer appealing to me. I stumbled upon WFEW. The more I watched, the more I was intrigued. I was nervous to purchase my first and it took me a few months. When I did purchase, I put her on and off she came and back in her box. Then I purchased a second and decided to wear her around. The more I wore her the more comfortable she became. I then opened that first box I had put away, and put her on and now I have no trouble wearing them.

Heather and her team were right! Just put the darn thing on your head and wear it!! I have found the perfect remedy for my hair situation along with a wonderful community of women and a way to share my journey to help others. I love it!

Thanks to WFEW I am here to help anyone who needs some guidance on choosing a wig. . I know it can be confusing and overwhelming finding that first wig. I believe I can make your experience a bit easier and successful.
